KFRI Bamboo Processing Unit
The Bamboo Primary Processing Centre (BPPC) was set up under the Bamboo Technical Support Group (BTSG-KFRI) activity withsupport of the National Bamboo Mission (NBM). BPPC is intended to serve as a Common Facility Centre for the bamboo artisans. It serves to introduce mechanization and value addition in the bamboo based industry which is predominantly based on traditional skill and use of simple hand tools.
